Over the last few days more and more casinos have pulled out of the US gambling market, which we are now hearing was down to a decision made by Microgaming to no longer accept US Players.

Microgaming Casinos have been a firm favourite amonst US players for many years and have offered some of the biggest progressive jackpots and the biggest selection of games, but as of today (10th of November 2008) no new registrations will be accepted from any US state.

It is believed this decision is down to the recent kentucky lawsuit, whereby the state of kentucky are trying to seize the domain names of any casino allowing players from Kentucky to place bets.

Most Microgaming Casinos will continue to accept play from US players who already have an account, but will no longer accept new registrations.

Current casinos still accepting US players are those from either Realtime Gaming or Rival Gaming.
